This issue occurred during an update as we prepare inFlight Console for our upcoming Steam release. The update introduced new internal components, and in rare cases, older cached installation data on some systems conflicted with the new version.
No user data or licenses are affected.
During a recent update—released as part of our preparation for the upcoming Steam launch—a small number of users may experience startup or installation issues with inFlight Console.
If the app does not start, update, or reinstall correctly, please follow the steps below to perform a completely clean reinstall.
Open File Explorer
Navigate to:
C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\

In this folder, search for:
inFlight Console
When you find inFlight Console.exe:
Right-click it
Select Open file location
In the new window that opens:
Go one folder up (to the parent directory)
Delete the entire folder
⚠️ This only removes cached files and is safe to do.
Open Windows Settings
Go to Apps → Installed Apps
Find inFlight Console
Click Uninstall
Visit the official inFlight website
Download the latest version of inFlight Console
Install normally
This will give you a fully clean installation and should resolve the startup issue.
